Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hi-Lo Driver to support production and material handling operations in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Hi-Lo (forklift) in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and packaging throughout the facility.
  • Supply production lines with materials to support continuous operations.
  • Load and unload trucks and verify shipments for accuracy.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report equipment issues.
  • Utilize RF scanners and inventory systems to track material movement.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and proper material storage locations.
  • Follow all quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with general warehouse and material handling duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Hi-Lo/Forklift experience required.
  • Previous automotive manufacturing or supplier experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate material handling equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Basic computer and RF scanner experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift for extended periods throughout the shift.
