Job description

Overview

The Revenue Analyst provides support to the Senior Revenue Optimization Manager and Director of Revenue Strategy, building business analyses and maintaining data cleanliness to facilitate strategic decision-making and achievement of the properties' top-line revenue objectives.

They will always conduct themselves in a manner which supports the Core Values of Sunriver Resort:Trust, Open & Honest Communication and Commitment. S/he shall strive to deliver exceptional service to all internal and external guests at all times. In this role, they are responsible for exemplifying the Sunriver Resort Culture and actively supporting our Vision and Mission to be the destination of choice for our guests, owners, and associates.

Responsibilities
  • Update, process, and generate daily, weekly and monthly revenue management reports for Senior Revenue Optimization Manager (SROM) to distribute.
  • Support hotel's yield efforts as directed by Revenue leaders, including updating rates and length of stay restrictions in RMS, PMS and OTAs
  • Build new reports, as needed, to assist in preparation for the Revenue Optimization Committee (ROC) meetings or data analysis.
  • Aid in monitoring, evaluating and executing new ancillary revenue strategies
  • Aid SROM in maintaining accurate inventory, additions/removals from program inventory, build of new room types, and auditing inventory across multiple systems.
  • Support Revenue leaders through set-up of reports and systems in their preparation of short-term and long-term forecasts.
  • Build rate plans, manage accuracy of rate details in all systems and confirmation emails, and communicate updates to Reservations, Front Office, and Marketing teams.
  • Assist Revenue leaders in oversite of Group Block Management process
  • Attend meetings as representative of revenue team, keeping & distributing minutes.
  • Manage and maintain content and positioning accuracy and relevancy on all distribution channels
  • Monitor and analyze the competition daily and weekly through third-party reporting (STR, AirDNA, KeyData, Hotelligence, Demand360, etc.) to identify selling strategies and market trends. Alert Revenue leaders to emerging trends.
  • Assists Revenue leaders in coding of expense invoices and submission of contracts for approval.
Qualifications
  • Proven analytical and conceptual skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Demonstrated exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional problem solving and process improvement skills
  • Demonstrated exceptional partnering skills
  • Ability to simplify complex data into metrics and recommendations that are easily understood and actionable
  • Ideal candidate would also possess basic knowledge of Springer Miller, Track PMS, Delphi, Synxis, IDeaS, and BeyondPricing RMS platforms.
  • Experience with vacation rental product preferred
