Job description

Spectrum Healthcare Resources has an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time Primary Care-Charge Nurse at Fairfax Ambulatory Care Center in Fairfax, Virginia.

Position Highlights:

  • Outpatient environment 
  • No holiday, weekend, or on-call responsibilities
  • Flexible scheduling; (Clinic is open M-F 6:00AM-19:30 or 6:30-20)                  
  • Active and retired military patient population
    • Competitive Compensation, with an estimated income of $90,000k

  • AND

    • For employees who commit to at least 28 hours per week, we offer an excellent comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k) plan, health, dental and vision insurance, PTO, LTD, STD, FSA, group term life insurance, and employee assistance program.

Essential Functions:

  • Run the day-to-day activities of the primary care clinic
  • Critically problem solve and prioritize care, complete daily assignments, and monthly schedules
  • Assist with triaging patients over the phone
  • Complete end-of-the-month reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN)
  • Active RN License
  • 2 years of recent nursing experience in a hospital setting required (primary care nursing experience preferred)
  • Current BLS certification
  • US citizen
  • Be available Saturdays
