Job description

Job Summary

The Display Team Member supports the execution of visual merchandising, store setup, and training activities for new store openings and existing locations. This role partners closely with store leadership, and cross-functional teams to ensure stores are set up according to company visual, operational, and training standards. They play a hands-on role in fixture installation, product display execution, store readiness, and associate training to support successful soft openings and grand openings.

Essential Job Functions
  • Support and guide new store setup schedules leading up to soft openings and grand openings.
  • Execute and coach proper fixture setup and product display in alignment with company visual merchandising standards.
  • Partner with construction and operations teams to ensure store readiness, including final cleaning and setup coordination.
  • Ensure all display tasks and store training requirements are completed for new stores during soft opening and grand opening phases.
  • Support store teams with training, including POS usage, visual display standards, inventory verification, logistics processes, damage reporting (POS), cash handling and deposit procedures, standard warehouse operations, cashier system usage, and daily store operations.
  • Assist multiple store locations with store setup, merchandising execution, and training support as needed.
  • Conduct daily store visits and evaluations; identify gaps and adjust store layout, displays, and execution to meet company standards.
  • Guide Store Managers and store associates on proper shelf stocking, fixture installation, and merchandising execution.
  • Communicate issues, risks, or deviations from standards to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting related to store setup progress and training completion.
Additional Qualifications
  • Ability to travel frequently for store openings and in-store support.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high visual and operational standards across multiple locations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Comfort working hands-on with fixtures, displays, and inventory.
  • Ability to control and support efficient use of labor and resources during store setups.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework preferred.
  • Previous experience in visual merchandising, retail operations, or a related field required.
  • Prior experience supporting retail store openings, visual merchandising execution, or store training preferred.
  • Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management processes.
