The position offers a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility as needed to accommodate patient appointments. • Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive assessments to accurately understand each patient’s mental health challenges and create tailored treatment plans that reflect their unique experiences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions in individual, family, and group therapy settings, ensuring that treatments are appropriately adapted to meet the cultural and personal backgrounds of your clients.
• Engage in crisis intervention strategies, providing immediate support and stability to patients during mental health emergencies.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards while utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) system effectively.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with psychiatrists and psychologists to create a cohesive care pathway for patients.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, proposed treatments, and community resources, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Engage in continuous professional development, including case conferences and cultural competency training, to enhance your expertise and improve service delivery.

This role emphasizes working with a diverse clientele, including those from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ individuals, and recent immigrants, thereby enriching your practice and expanding your understanding of varied mental health perspectives. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Virginia.
• A strong background in mental health disorders, with a firm grasp of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual or group therapy with a focus on inclusivity and cultural responsiveness.
• Exceptional crisis intervention abilities, with a calm and effective approach in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on building rapport with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in electronic health record systems and relevant computer applications.
• A strong ethical foundation with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional boundaries.
• Capacity to collaborate and contribute effectively in a multidisciplinary team setting.

The salary range for this position is USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually, reflecting your qualifications and experience.
