As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, your duties will include:

• Directly engaging with clients in both office and community settings to provide therapeutic support to those dealing with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders.
• Conducting brief, evidence-based screenings and assessments to determine the best course of action for clients.
• Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized care plans that facilitate access to necessary services while ensuring active communication among clients, families, and healthcare providers.
• Delivering a range of services including crisis intervention, individual, group, and family therapy tailored to clients' presenting challenges and goals.
• Maintaining accurate client records and ensuring adherence to ethical standards and organizational guidelines.
• Collaborating with team members to meet collective goals and advance services effectively.

Our target population includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, particularly those who have historically been marginalized or underserved. The LCSW will work with clients experiencing serious mental health symptoms, offering not only therapeutic support but also guidance to navigate the healthcare system. To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Connecticut.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• A strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and fellow team members.

While not mandatory, additional experience that would be valuable includes:

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
