The Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing customer collections, vendor payments, reconciliations, and general accounting support. This role requires someone detail-oriented, organized, and experienced in both AR and AP. -Full-time remote position -Manage customer collections, overdue balances, invoices, refunds, and credit memos -Investigate billing discrepancies and resolve customer payment issues -Review, verify, code, and process vendor invoices and payments -Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation -Reconcile customer accounts, vendor statements, and payment discrepancies -Prepare aging reports and maintain accurate AR/AP records -Assist with vendor onboarding and employee expense reports -Support month-end/year-end reconciliations, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance -Assist with sales tax filings, audits, and financial documentation Special Requirements -Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred -Strong knowledge of AR, AP, accounting principles, billing, and collections -Experience with customer and vendor portals is an asset Benefits -Benefits package with multiple coverage options -Company-matched retirement program -Flexible vacation and time-off options -Maternity leave top-up -Training reimbursement and professional development opportunities -Regular company events and employee engagement initiatives Requirements: Special Requirements -Minimum 3+ years of experience in a combined Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable role -Strong hands-on AR, AP, and account reconciliation experience -QuickBooks or similar accounting/ERP experience and advanced Excel skills preferred -Must be confident and professional when handling customer and vendor issues -Strong accounting, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills -Able to work independently in a remote environment Accommodations are available upon request for all individuals with disabilities taking part in the recruitment and selection process.
