• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health status and substance abuse histories, creating a comprehensive view of their needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that address both addiction and underlying mental health issues, focusing on evidence-based methodologies tailored to each individual.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing best practice techniques and therapeutic approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate closely with our multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to care, sharing insights and strategies in weekly case conferences.
• Engage family members and significant others in the treatment process, providing education and support for their involvement in the recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring all documentation reflects the quality of care provided.

This role adroitly bridges mental health therapy and addiction counseling, focusing primarily on individuals who are striving for recovery from substance use disorders. Our clients vary in age and background, requiring tailored therapeutic approaches that regard their unique experiences and challenges. You will work with those experiencing a variety of co-occurring disorders, making it vital to employ a broad spectrum of therapeutic interventions.

• A valid license in at least one of the following areas: LSCSW, LCSW, LCP, LCPC, LCMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Demonstrated expertise in addiction counseling, backed by clinical training or relevant professional experience.
• Sound knowledge of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse and co-occurring disorders, with a focus on delivering client-centered care.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills, with a proven ability to engage and motivate clients to achieve their recovery goals.
• A strong, collaborative spirit with proficient communication skills to work effectively within a diverse team.

Experience within a substance abuse treatment setting is preferred, especially familiarity with telehealth services or similar digital platforms used to deliver therapy. Applicants with a track record of successful outcomes in addiction recovery or adjacent specialties will be highly regarded.

The competitive annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and credentials.
