• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to establish each patient’s mental health status, identifying strengths, challenges, and support needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, tailored to individual client situations.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless integration of care across discipline lines.
• Educate clients and their families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medications to empower informed decision-making.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing best practices to address a variety of mental health concerns.
• Create and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with the care team, reflecting patient goals and preferences.
• Act as an advocate for patients within the mental health system, helping them navigate challenges and ensuring their rights are upheld.
• Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions to promote understanding and skills development among clients facing mental health challenges.
