Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing you to manage your work-from-home setup while ensuring effective communication with patients and team members. You will benefit from a structured schedule and flexibility to accommodate patient needs. The standard work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some possibilities for adjusted scheduling depending on patient appointments and emergencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to devise individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective counseling.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that foster community, understanding, and shared experiences among clients.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and psychologists to provide coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services, offering timely support and interventions during mental health emergencies.
• Educate clients about their mental health conditions, relevant treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards.
• Actively engage in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development, remaining abreast of advancements in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse patient population, including individuals grappling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance use issues. Qualifications

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and ethical practice standards.
• Demonstrate competency in conducting comprehensive assessments, outlining effective treatment plans, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
• Experience delivering individual and group therapy sessions across diverse demographics.
• Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Exhibit sound judgment, ethical practice, and an understanding of professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technological platforms.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health counseling setting.
• Experience in community health clinic environments or similar outpatient facilities.
• Background in providing group therapy or psychoeducational programming.

Compensation and Benefits
