Womens Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) to join our team in a remote, telehealth setting. This full-time position focuses on the mental health treatment of children and adolescents facing various psychological challenges, including behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies involving children and adolescents.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources to promote understanding and proactive engagement in care.
  • Maintain precise and compliant documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards to track treatment progress and outcomes.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development to ensure consistent application of best practices in treatment.
  • Stay updated on current research and developments in child and adolescent psychiatry to inform clinical practices and treatment plan adjustments.
  • Perform comprehensive mental health assessments tailored to evaluate each child's or adolescent's individual needs and challenges.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that consider the developmental stages and family dynamics of each patient.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), to address a variety of mental health issues in young individuals.
  • Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at strengthening familial bonds and fostering supportive home environments.
  • Collaborate with child psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is the treatment of children and adolescents. You will work with patients grappling with mental health issues that significantly impact their daily functioning and quality of life. Our goal is to provide resources and support that empower young clients to overcome their challenges, ultimately enhancing their emotional and psychological resilience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in counseling, clinical psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, or equivalent credentials.
  • Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
  • Ability to deliver individual and family therapy within a child-centric approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong focus on rapport-building with children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and familiarity with telehealth platforms.
  • A collaborative mindset for working effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing care and therapy specifically to young clients, particularly in a telehealth environment.
  • Knowledge of a variety of therapeutic modalities tailored to children's needs, especially evidence-based approaches.
