Work Environment

This remote position offers a supportive and collaborative work environment, where you will join a team of dedicated professionals passionate about mental health. You will utilize telehealth technologies and digital platforms to interact with clients, ensuring they receive a seamless care experience. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs and formulate personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals and challenges.
  • Facilitate effective individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed practices.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care is provided, integrating physical and mental health approaches to treatment.
  • Educate and support clients' families, promoting a participatory approach to recovery that enhances their understanding and involvement.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records, ensuring adherence to ethical guidelines and regulatory requirements in all documentation practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will focus primarily on adults facing a spectrum of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. By providing compassionate and nonjudgmental care, you will help clients build resilience in their recovery journeys while fostering their overall psychological well-being.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a closely related field, with a strong understanding of mental health theories and practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in mental health counseling, showcasing the ability to support diverse populations effectively.
  • Excellence in therapeutic skills, allowing you to build rapport and motivate clients throughout their recovery process.
  • Strong communication skills, fostering effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience working in settings focused on mental health therapy, with an emphasis on treating adults and families.
