Our outpatient office structure supports client engagement and continuity of care, with administrative resources available to minimize paperwork and enhance your focus on therapeutic work. Your work week will typically span from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility to adjust for the needs of your clients.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using solution-focused methodologies to create personalized treatment plans that address the specific mental health needs of your clients.
• Utilize established therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) to deliver individualized interventions aimed at fostering positive client outcomes.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential clinical records that comply with HIPAA regulations, ensuring all documentation reflects the high quality of care provided.
• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to enhance the overall care delivered to clients.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review sessions, contributing to shared knowledge and continuous improvement in therapeutic practices.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and available community resources, thereby facilitating informed decision-making.
• Stay informed about the latest research and innovations in mental health treatment to continuously refine your clinical skills.

Your work will primarily involve clients dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and relationship issues. You will interact with individuals from diverse backgrounds, requiring sensitivity to cultural differences and a commitment to inclusive care. The goal is to help clients cope, heal, and thrive within their community.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active license to practice in New York State as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A solid understanding of solution-based psychotherapy interventions, demonstrating the ability to apply therapeutic techniques effectively to meet client needs.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to foster productive therapeutic relationships.
