Job description

Position Overview

Transformative Journey Psychotherapy Services is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to enhance our team in delivering high-quality mental health support. This full-time remote position enables you to leverage your expertise in psychotherapy while working from the comfort of your home. As a pivotal member of our organization, you will provide essential counseling services tailored to the varied needs of individuals, couples, and families.

About the Organization

Transformative Journey Psychotherapy Services is committed to transforming lives through comprehensive and compassionate mental health care. Based in Clarksville, Tennessee, our community health clinic serves a diverse population, focusing on accessible mental health solutions and stigma-free support. Our team is passionate about fostering a safe environment where clients can explore their emotional challenges and develop strategies for improvement.

Work Environment

This position operates within a fully remote framework, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from anywhere. Our clinic employs various secure digital platforms designed for teletherapy, which facilitate seamless interactions with clients. You will receive robust support from administrative staff, ensuring that your focus remains on providing the highest quality care.

Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will take on a variety of responsibilities that may include:

  • Conducting thorough assessments during initial therapy sessions to understand each client's unique background, needs, and therapeutic goals.
  • Facilitating individual therapy sessions through online platforms, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for self-exploration.
  • Providing couples therapy that addresses relationship dynamics, conflict resolution, and effective communication strategies.
  • Engaging families in therapy by identifying patterns of communication and interaction that may contribute to ongoing challenges.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs, continuously evaluating progress and making necessary adjustments.
  • Utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Family Systems Therapy, to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals, as needed, to create a holistic support system for clients.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of clients, which may include individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. Our focus is on culturally competent care, recognizing and respecting the diverse backgrounds of our clients to strengthen their therapeutic journey.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, ideally involving teletherapy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • A demonstrated ability to work autonomously while also enjoying productive collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred Experience

While the above qualifications are essential, candidates with experience in specific areas, including trauma-informed therapy, play therapy, or systemic family therapy, will be particularly valuable to our team. Additionally, familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth technologies is preferred to ensure effective client management and documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary in the range of $80,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a competitive sign-on bonus. Our benefits package includes:

  • A 401(k) retirement plan with company matching to prepare for your future.
  • Paid time off (PTO) and holiday benefits to promote a healthy work-life balance.
  • Continuous professional development opportunities, including workshops and training sessions to enhance your skills.
  • Flexible scheduling options to accommodate your personal commitments while ensuring client care remains a priority.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Transformative Journey Psychotherapy Services, we believe in nurturing talent and fostering growth. As you gain experience, there are potential opportunities for advancement into leadership roles or specialized areas of practice. We encourage and support ongoing education and certifications that align with your professional aspirations.

Why Join Our Team

By becoming part of Transformative Journey Psychotherapy Services, you will join a passionate team dedicated to making a genuine difference in the lives of individuals, couples, and families. Our supportive environment values innovation and collaboration, offering you the chance to grow both personally and professionally while impacting your community positively.
