Calm Seas Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis in a remote capacity. This role is ideal for an experienced LCSW, LPC, or LMFT who is passionate about providing culturally sensitive mental health care to diverse populations. Work Environment

Our team operates in a fully remote setting, enabling flexibility for both therapists and patients. This arrangement allows our Licensed Mental Health Therapists to connect with clients in a comfortable environment, whether they are at home or utilizing our clinic's digital tools. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with occasional flexibility required to meet clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that incorporate cultural sensitivity, ensuring that therapy is relevant and responsive to each client's unique background.
  • Implement tailored therapeutic interventions grounded in evidence-based practices, while also considering patientsโ€™ cultural identities in therapy sessions.
  • Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions designed to promote mental wellness, resilience, and personal growth.
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to devise comprehensive treatment plans that support each client's recovery journey.
  • Respond to mental health crises with appropriate intervention techniques, maintaining a calm demeanor to provide effective support during emergency situations.
  • Provide education to patients and their families about various mental health conditions and treatment options, as well as connecting them to valuable community resources.
  • Maintain electronic health records (EHR) with accurate documentation that adheres to clinical and ethical standards.
  • Participate in ongoing case conferences, cultural competency training, and team meetings to foster a collaborative atmosphere and enhance service delivery.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and best practices in mental health to continually improve therapeutic methods.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

Calm Seas Counseling Services offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 โ€“ 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
