Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans for clients, ensuring tailored therapeutic strategies.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions and group therapy as appropriate, using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychologists, social workers, and healthcare professionals, to deliver holistic care that addresses the various aspects of client wellness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient confidentiality and data management.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in webinars, workshops, and training sessions to stay current with advancements in mental health research and practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and substance use. Your empathetic and focused approach will empower clients to make meaningful progress in their mental health journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• A valid and active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, particularly in a clinical setting, is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of ethical and legal considerations related to counseling practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems and other related technologies for clinical documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in specialized areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits
