Job description

Location : Local candidates are preferred to work onsite in Moline, IL, but the manager is willing to consider fully remote candidates if they are well qualified for the role. NOTE: Video interviews and a skills assessment will be required during this process. If the candidate is not willing to be on video conference, he or she will not be considered for the role.

Position Description: As a Senior Software Engineer on this embedded operations team, you will be: Automating and scripting to improve adoption of internal systems Aid in operating system adoption and version upgrades Work with the OS Enablement engineer to implement automation, documentation, and workflows around EMB32 upgrades Writing scripts to work with C code Reading between the lines and handle edge cases in design. You will need the ability to create generic tools to work with varying customers who have different needs Must haves: Looking for candidates with 5-7 years of experience with the following Proficient in a scripting language (Python most commonly seen, but others are acceptable) Working understanding of C code Experience with discreet real time operating systems is needed.
