You will interact regularly with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and social workers, through virtual meetings aimed at optimizing client care and collaboration.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to gauge their mental health needs and establish a baseline for treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans that reflect evidence-based treatment modalities and cultural considerations.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions with clients, utilizing techniques tailored to each individual's unique circumstances and therapeutic goals.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress within our EHR system, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Provide referrals to additional healthcare professionals as necessary, fostering a coordinated approach to mental health care.
• Engage in ongoing evaluation of treatment outcomes and adapt strategies as needed, addressing the evolving needs of clients.

As a Senior Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. You'll leverage your cultural competence to address the unique needs of clients from every walk of life, ensuring that care is tailored and relevant. Your expertise will play a crucial role in empowering individuals to develop coping strategies and improve their overall mental health.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
• A minimum of four years of direct experience in mental health counseling is required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders, along with proficiency in evidence-based therapy techniques and therapeutic interventions.
• Strong interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and experiences.

• Experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing a wide range of therapeutic approaches.
• Advanced crisis intervention skills, with a proven ability to handle challenging situations effectively.
• Familiarity with utilizing technology in therapy, including telehealth platforms and electronic health record management.
