In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to establish an accurate understanding of patients’ mental health needs, using evidence-based practices to inform personalized treatment planning.
• Implement a range of therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other recognized modalities, tailored to address the unique needs of your clients.
• Maintain and manage clinical records with integrity, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and best practices for confidentiality.
• Engage in collaborative treatment with our diverse team of mental health professionals, participating in case consultations and peer reviews to continually enhance patient care quality.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments and research in mental health to continually refine therapeutic techniques and approaches.

The clientele we serve are individuals navigating a wide range of mental health challenges, including trauma, anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders. By understanding their unique experiences and needs, you will tailor your therapeutic approach to foster trust, engagement, and meaningful progress.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon.
• The ability to implement solution-focused psychotherapy interventions tailored to the individual needs of clients, fostering effective therapeutic relationships.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on establishing rapport and creating a safe space for clients.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling you to navigate complex clinical scenarios effectively.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who:

• Have experience in a telehealth setting or are familiar with virtual therapy platforms.
• Demonstrated success in working with a diverse clientele, addressing a variety of mental health issues through tailored interventions.
• Show a commitment to ongoing professional development through continued education and training in the mental health field.
