• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate the mental health status, strengths, and needs of clients during initial sessions.
• Implement and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to each client’s unique situation.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurses, and other mental health professionals in a multidisciplinary team setting to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Educate clients and their families on diagnoses, treatment options, and medications to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, bringing evidence-based modalities to the forefront of practice.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, ensuring integration of client goals, preferences, and evidence-based practices.
• Assist clients in navigating the complexities of the mental health system, advocating for their rights and needs as necessary.
• Lead therapeutic groups and psychoeducation sessions, which may include topics on coping strategies, stress management, and relapse prevention.
• Participate actively in discharge planning meetings to ensure a smooth transition for clients after intensive treatment.

You will engage with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing varied mental health challenges. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is essential.
