Full Time Remote Rn information

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time remote RN?

To thrive as a Full Time Remote RN, you need a valid RN license, strong clinical assessment skills, and experience in telehealth or remote patient care. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, EHR systems, and secure communication tools is essential. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills help you deliver effective patient care while working independently. These skills and qualities are vital to ensure patient safety, maintain high care standards, and succeed in a remote healthcare environment.

What is a full time remote RN?

A Full Time Remote RN is a registered nurse who works full time from a non-traditional setting, such as their home, using technology to provide patient care, education, and support. These nurses may work in roles like telehealth, case management, triage, or patient education, communicating with patients and healthcare teams through phone, video, or online platforms. Remote RNs must be licensed and have strong communication and technical skills to deliver high-quality care outside of a traditional clinical environment.

What is the best remote job for registered nurses?

A full-time remote registered nurse typically works in telehealth, providing patient consultations, health assessments, and care management via phone or video. These roles often require nursing licensure, strong communication skills, and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems. They offer flexible schedules and the ability to work from home while delivering clinical support.

Both roles allow remote work, but differ mainly in hours and compensation structure.

How do full time remote RNs typically collaborate with healthcare teams and patients while working from home?

Full Time Remote RNs often use secure digital platforms to communicate with physicians, care managers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless patient care coordination. They may conduct virtual patient assessments, manage follow-ups, and document care plans electronically. While working remotely offers flexibility, it also requires strong communication skills and self-motivation to stay connected with both the team and patients. Regular virtual meetings and thorough documentation are essential to maintaining high-quality care.

Job description

Allara is a comprehensive women’s health provider that specializes in expert, longitudinal care that supports women through every life stage. Trusted by over 60,000 women nationwide, Allara makes expert healthcare accessible by connecting patients with multidisciplinary care teams that have a deep understanding of hormonal, metabolic, and reproductive care. Allara provides ongoing support for hormonal conditions like PCOS, chronic conditions like insulin resistance, and life stages like perimenopause, helping patients see improved health outcomes. As one of the fastest-growing women’s health platforms in the U.S., Allara is bridging long-overlooked gaps in healthcare for women.

The Opportunity

We’re hiring Registered Dietitians who want to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care to women who have historically been underserved. To learn more about our mission and clinical approach, visit allarahealth.com.

Location: Fully remote within the U.S.

Your Impact

  • Analyze intake assessments, including medical history, dietary habits, laboratory results, and more.

  • Conduct diet and lifestyle counseling and education sessions via video, including offering general movement, sleep, or stress management advice as needed and related to nutrition care.

  • Employ Allara’s provided nutrition training and educational materials to ensure consistent care while adapting to patient needs.

  • Incorporate motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques throughout the continuity of care.

  • Collaborate with APRNs and MDs involved in the medical management of your patients.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

  • Responsibilities also include charting, addressing patient inquiries, and responding to administrative tasks and messages in a timely manner.

Required Qualifications

  • Certification: Registered Dietitian with current certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

  • Experience: 1-year experience treating patients with complex women’s health conditions (strongly desired).

  • Clinical Independence: Proven ability to function as an autonomous provider with strong diagnostic judgment and critical thinking skills

  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication, with an emphasis on compassion and clarity

  • Webside Manner: A natural ability to build trust and connection with patients in a virtual setting

  • Evidence-Based Practice: A genuine commitment to delivering care rooted in current clinical research

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable working across multiple platforms including EMR systems, text expanders, Gmail, Google Calendar, Zoom, and scheduling tools

  • Telemedicine Experience: Prior telehealth experience is a plus

  • State License Requirements & Hiring Considerations: An active, unrestricted, and unencumbered professional license in at least one U.S. state is required.

A note on state licensing: All active and pending licenses held at the time of application are collected and reviewed during our process. Hiring decisions reflect current state-level needs, which evolve over time. Applicants may not move forward immediately if there is no active need in their licensed states. We regularly revisit candidates as needs expand and when experience, licensure, and role requirements align.

What Allara Offers

  • Annual base salary: $65,000 + the ability to increase up to $105,000 through our incentive compensation program

  • Health and Wellness: Medical, dental, and vision benefits

  • Future Planning: 401(k) plan

  • Time Off: Annual vacation, sick days, and holidays

  • Annual CEU/WFH Stipend

  • Continuing Education: Access to multiple free, live CEU sessions every month, plus a Women's Health Certificate of Training launching in 2027!

  • Fully Remote: Work from anywhere in the U.S.

  • Flexible Scheduling: Set your schedule within full-time hour requirements

  • Malpractice Insurance: Comprehensive coverage provided at no cost to you

  • Mission-Driven Work: Help transform the standard of care for women living with conditions that have historically been underdiagnosed and undertreated

  • Collaborative Provider Network: Connect with and learn from a community of skilled, like-minded Allara clinicians

  • Inclusive Culture: Join a supportive, diverse team that values innovation, equity, and belonging
