• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions, using various therapeutic techniques tailored to clients’ needs.
• Prepare, implement, and adjust treatment plans based on monitoring clients' progress and feedback.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and nurses, to formulate robust intervention plans that meet clients' unique challenges.
• Actively follow up with healthcare providers concerning clients admitted to hospitals, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Identify potential barriers to recovery and develop strategies to enhance client coping mechanisms.
• Provide guidance and support to family members and primary caregivers, equipping them with tools to manage challenges related to their loved ones’ mental health.

Your role involves working with a vibrant and diverse clientele of all ages and backgrounds facing a wide array of mental health issues. This includes those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health conditions. Your compassionate and individualized approach to counseling will play a crucial role in facilitating healing and resilience within the community.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida.
• Demonstrated work experience in a mental health counseling environment or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of the implications and effects of medications prescribed by medical professionals.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document thoroughly and effectively.
• Empathy and interpersonal skills that foster trusting relationships with clients.

• Previous experience in community mental health settings or similar environments.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology would be beneficial.
• Relevant training and certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.

This is a full-time W2 position with a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 101,000 annually, reflecting your skills and experience.
