As the LCSW, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to identify the unique mental health needs, strengths, and resources of clients and their families.
• Providing individual, couples, and family therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that align with the specific challenges and goals of clients, regularly reviewing and updating these plans based on progress.
• Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducation workshops that address common grief and mental health issues faced by families in hospice care.
• Providing timely crisis intervention, conducting risk assessments, and developing safety plans for clients in distress.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal requirements.

Our client base includes individuals facing terminal illnesses and their families, spanning all age groups. As an LCSW at Gotham Enterprises, you will encounter a diverse array of emotional and psychological challenges tied to chronic health conditions, grief, and loss. The successful candidate will possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, complemented by an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, ideally with exposure to hospice or palliative care.
• Proven knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities suited to a hospice care context.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.

While the minimum qualifications are essential, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in a hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care environment.
• A background in grief counseling.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or telehealth platforms.
