What is a full time remote RN?

A Full Time Remote RN is a registered nurse who works full time from a non-traditional setting, such as their home, using technology to provide patient care, education, and support. These nurses may work in roles like telehealth, case management, triage, or patient education, communicating with patients and healthcare teams through phone, video, or online platforms. Remote RNs must be licensed and have strong communication and technical skills to deliver high-quality care outside of a traditional clinical environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a full time remote RN?

To thrive as a Full Time Remote RN, you need a valid RN license, strong clinical assessment skills, and experience in telehealth or remote patient care. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, EHR systems, and secure communication tools is essential. Excellent communication, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills help you deliver effective patient care while working independently. These skills and qualities are vital to ensure patient safety, maintain high care standards, and succeed in a remote healthcare environment.

How do full time remote RNs typically collaborate with healthcare teams and patients while working from home?

Full Time Remote RNs often use secure digital platforms to communicate with physicians, care managers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless patient care coordination. They may conduct virtual patient assessments, manage follow-ups, and document care plans electronically. While working remotely offers flexibility, it also requires strong communication skills and self-motivation to stay connected with both the team and patients. About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we are committed to delivering high-quality hospice and palliative care services. Based in Hawthorne, Nevada, our team specializes in a holistic approach to patient care, ensuring that our clients receive not only medical but also emotional, psychological, and social support. We believe in fostering a nurturing environment that promotes healing and dignity while addressing the multifaceted challenges of end-of-life care.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, remote position that allows for flexibility while ensuring access to necessary resources to support your work. You will interact primarily through telehealth platforms, allowing you the freedom to provide care from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients and other health professionals in a collaborative virtual environment. Our work culture emphasizes teamwork and open communication, focusing on client-centered care.

  • Developing tailored treatment plans that align with the specific challenges and goals of clients, regularly reviewing and updating these plans based on progress.
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
  • Facilitating group therapy sessions and psychoeducation workshops that address common grief and mental health issues faced by families in hospice care.

  • Maintaining accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with ethical and legal requirements.

Our client base includes individuals facing terminal illnesses and their families, spanning all age groups. As an LCSW at Gotham Enterprises, you will encounter a diverse array of emotional and psychological challenges tied to chronic health conditions, grief, and loss. Working with families in this sensitive area requires compassion, empathy, expertise in trauma-informed care, and the ability to navigate difficult conversations about end-of-life issues.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, complemented by an active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, ideally with exposure to hospice or palliative care.
  • Proven knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities suited to a hospice care context.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective engagement with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Preferred Experience

While the minimum qualifications are essential, preference will be given to candidates with:

  • Experience in a hospice, palliative, or end-of-life care environment.
  • A background in grief counseling.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) or telehealth platforms.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to economic compensation, our benefits package includes:

  • Comprehensive health insurance, covering medical, dental, and vision.
  • A retirement plan with employer matching contributions to support your long-term financial health.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation days, personal days, and recognized holidays.
  • Access to continuing education and professional development programs to enhance your skills and career growth.
Career Growth Opportunities

As part of the Gotham Enterprises team, you will have access to a variety of career advancement opportunities. We prioritize internal promotions and foster an environment of learning and professional development. This role can lead to expanded responsibilities, specialized training, or leadership positions within our organization.
