Collaborate with a dynamic team of mental health professionals, including counselors, psychologists, and nurses, to create a seamless continuum of care. • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health and substance use history to determine treatment needs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, monitoring progress and adjusting as necessary.
• Engage clients and their families in treatment processes, providing education on mental health resources and strategies for coping with challenges.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to deliver therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and develop cohesive care strategies.
• Stay informed of current research and advancements in mental health treatment to enhance service delivery.

In this role, you will primarily work with adults dealing with substance use disorders, particularly those in detoxification. This patient population often requires a compassionate approach to navigate both mental health issues and recovery challenges. Understanding and addressing their unique needs through targeted interventions will be critical in guiding them toward successful outcomes.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current, active LCSW license in the state of Nevada.
• Demonstrated ability to practice independently while maintaining strong team collaboration.
• Excellent clinical judgement and the capacity for effective interpersonal communication, essential for engaging with clients and stakeholders.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on substance use or mental health.
• Experience working with older adult populations or specific knowledge of challenges related to aging and substance use recovery.
• Familiarity with treatment modalities aimed at addiction recovery, including group therapy and family counseling practices.
