Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting therapeutic sessions with couples, families, and individuals to address various mental health concerns.
  • Utilizing evidence-based practices to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of your clients.
  • Documenting progress and outcomes of therapy sessions in compliance with state regulations and organizational policies.
  • Providing crisis intervention as necessary and managing cases effectively to ensure client safety and wellbeing.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare providers to facilitate a holistic approach to patient care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse client base, including couples and families experiencing challenges such as:

  • Alcohol and substance abuse issues.
  • Physical and psychological abuse.
  • Grief and loss, including adjustment to separation and divorce.
  • Interpersonal conflicts among family members and siblings.
  • Job-related stress and medical issues impacting mental health.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • An active and unrestricted state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
