Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)

Job Summary

This full-time remote role is for a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who is experienced in supporting clients through relationship, family, and emotional health concerns. You will provide therapy through secure video sessions and work with clients who may be managing communication difficulties, family transitions, relationship strain, anxiety, grief, parenting stress, or other life challenges.

The position requires strong clinical judgment, organized documentation, and the ability to provide consistent care in a virtual setting. You will be responsible for helping clients identify treatment goals, track progress, and build healthier patterns in their relationships and daily lives.

What You'll Do

  • Provide remote therapy to clients throughout North Carolina
  • Work with individuals, couples, and families in a virtual clinical setting
  • Complete clinical intakes and gather information needed for treatment planning
  • Help clients address relationship patterns, conflict, emotional stress, and family concerns
  • Maintain treatment plans and update them as client needs change
  • Complete progress notes and documentation within required timeframes
  • Use secure telehealth and EHR systems for client care and recordkeeping
  • Respond appropriately to clinical risk, safety concerns, and referral needs
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, ethical standards, and North Carolina LMFT requirements

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
  • Active and unrestricted LMFT license in North Carolina
  • Previous experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and/or families
  • Strong understanding of family systems, relational therapy, and ethical clinical practice
  • Comfortable providing services through telehealth platforms
  • Experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation
  • Reliable internet connection and a private workspace for remote sessions

Benefits

  • $115,000-$120,000 per year
