As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor at Sunny Square, you will:

• Conduct engaging group therapy sessions that promote connection and support among clients, allowing for shared experiences and mutual growth.
• Provide individualized therapy, focusing on each client’s unique thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, while guiding them in developing effective coping strategies and action plans.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their specific needs and aspirations.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress through various assessment tools, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights, coordinating care, and providing collective approaches for complex cases.

Our outpatient treatment center caters specifically to young adults aged 18 to 30, offering specialized programming that blends evidence-based practices with holistic approaches. By focusing on this age group, we address unique developmental challenges and mental health needs, ensuring that our services are tailored to facilitate recovery and personal growth during this critical life stage.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in a relevant field such as counseling, social work, psychology, or marriage and family therapy.
• A valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license.
• A strong background in mental health treatment with a focus on young adult populations.

Experience in providing group therapy, as well as individual psychotherapy, is highly desirable. Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and methodologies that resonate with young adults will significantly enhance your ability to engage and support clients effectively.
