Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to determine patients' mental health status, strengths, and needs.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), in both individual and group settings.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop coordinated care plans that ensure each patient receives holistic treatment.
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions and psychoeducational programming aimed at enhancing coping skills and supporting recovery.
  • Advocate for patients' needs within the mental health system to ensure they receive appropriate resources and support.
  • Regularly review and update treatment plans based on patient progress and ongoing assessments, ensuring they align with patient-centered goals.
  • Engage in discharge planning meetings that emphasize continued care and future support mechanisms for patients transitioning from detoxification programs.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCSW at Experity Care Consultants, you will primarily work with individuals undergoing detoxification and those experiencing various mental health disorders, including substance use issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and we value cultural sensitivity and an individualized approach in clinical practice to meet unique client needs.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
