Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will engage in meaningful therapeutic work within our outpatient treatment center focused on young adults aged 18 to 30. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Group Therapy: Facilitate engaging group sessions that foster peer support and personal connection among clients, enabling them to share experiences and learn collaboratively.
  • Individual Therapy: Provide one-on-one counseling, allowing clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors while developing personalized coping strategies that promote self-efficacy.
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to design and implement individualized treatment plans that are goal-oriented and encompass their specific needs and preferences.
  • Progress Monitoring: Utilize various assessment tools to track and evaluate client progress, ensuring optimal outcomes and ongoing adjustments to treatment strategies as needed.
  • Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to coordinate care, share insights, and consult on complex cases to provide the highest level of support.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on young adults navigating a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and transitional life stresses. As an LPC, you will play a pivotal role in guiding these individuals towards recovery, helping them build resilience, nurture healing, and inspire hope.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and methodologies.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with the following credentials and experiences will have a competitive edge:

  • Experience working specifically with young adults in a mental health or community health setting.
  • Familiarity with PHP (Partial Hospitalization Program) programming and its therapeutic interventions.
  • Knowledge of holistic treatment approaches and their applicability in mental health care.
Compensation and Benefits
