In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will primarily serve clients between the ages of 18 and 30 in our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP). Your responsibilities will include:

• Group Therapy Facilitation: Organize and lead group therapy sessions that provide a secure environment for clients to share their experiences and foster connections.
• Individual Counseling: Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions that delve into clients’ thoughts and emotions, helping them to develop coping strategies tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Treatment Planning: Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that are meaningful, goal-driven, and adaptable to their evolving needs.
• Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document client progress through various assessment tools, encouraging open dialogues about their experiences and insights.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to client care through regular updates and collaborative problem-solving.

The primary focus of this role is to support young adults dealing with mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will utilize evidence-based and holistic treatment methods to address their mental health needs and create a healing environment that encourages personal growth.

• A Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• Current license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and a commitment to ethical standards in practice.

• Experience working with young adults in a mental health setting, particularly in outpatient or PHP environments.
• Familiarity with therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Previous experience collaborating within a multidisciplinary team.
