Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury law. The ideal candidate will bring knowledge of both first-party and third-party personal injury claims, a positive attitude, and a dedication to high-quality client service. This role involves managing case documentation, preparing legal documents, and supporting our attorneys throughout the litigation process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and file complaints, jury demands, and other pleadings related to personal injury cases (both mail and e-filing).
  • Draft and respond to discovery motions, including those pertinent to personal injury claims.
  • Prepare initial disclosures and respond to written discovery requests.
  • Collect and manage required forms and authorizations for personal injury cases.
  • Order, summarize, and organize medical records and other relevant case documentation.
  • Summarize deposition transcripts and obtain police reports and additional documentation to support claims.
  • Use Lexis and other resources to gather information about parties and witnesses.
  • Coordinate with investigators and assist with tasks as requested by pre-litigation and litigation attorneys.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, demonstrating empathy and providing updates on their personal injury cases.
  • Schedule depositions, subpoena witnesses, and assist with other litigation-related tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members and attend firm-wide meetings as scheduled.
  • Show a willingness to learn new tasks and technologies with a proactive and positive attitude.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with both first-party and third-party auto personal injury claims is a plus.
