The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will undertake a variety of responsibilities to ensure comprehensive service delivery:

• Conduct thorough assessments and craft detailed treatment plans tailored to individual client needs, which may include strategies for crisis intervention, behavioral guidelines, and risk management.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation that meets regulatory and accreditation standards, ensuring all record-keeping is meticulous and up-to-date.
• Use evidence-based screening tools to evaluate client progress and adapt therapeutic approaches accordingly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, ensuring holistic care across various client programs.
• Engage in all necessary licensing and accreditation initiatives to uphold high professional standards.
• Act as a liaison for clients with state agencies and community partners to facilitate access to essential services.
• Establish and maintain effective communication strategies to advance organizational goals and enhance service delivery while fostering community relationships.
• Identify opportunities for partnerships, collaborations, and funding sources to enhance program offerings.
• Participate actively in professional development activities including conferences, workshops, and relevant committees that align with mental health practices.
• Embody and promote the agency’s mission, values, and principles in every facet of the work.
• Complete any additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health discipline.
• Possession of an Independent Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) license, or willingness to obtain licensure with associated fees covered by the organization.

While not mandatory, candidates with the following experiences will have an advantage:

• Professional experience in outpatient mental health settings, particularly in Texas.
