Work Environment

This position is designed for flexibility, operating from a remote setup with an outpatient office as the primary work facility. Your work schedule will typically be Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some variations to meet the needs of our patients. This remote setting allows for a comfortable and productive work-life balance while delivering essential care to those who seek our services.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, ensuring that each patient's unique history and context are understood and respected.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions customized to individual patient needs, drawing upon your knowledge of cultural variances and personal circumstances.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, fostering resilience in patients and promoting overall mental health and well-being.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to deliver coordinated and holistic care, ensuring all aspects of patient needs are addressed.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, employing your skills to navigate challenging circumstances with composure.
• Educate patients and their families on various mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, equipping them with knowledge for informed decision-making.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and company standards to ensure the integrity of patient information.
• Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing cultural competency training to stay current on clinical practices and best serve our diverse patients.

Qualifications

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited educational institution.
• Possession of a current and valid mental health license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
• A deep understanding of various mental health disorders coupled with evidence-based treatment approaches that demonstrate cultural competence in providing therapy.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering therapy, both individually and in groups, using inclusive practices that respect and affirm diverse identities.
• Strong crisis management skills, with an ability to maintain poise and professionalism in emotionally charged scenarios.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, enabling the building of rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.
• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital tools essential for modern clinical practice.
• A commitment to maintaining ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and interdisciplinary collaboration is a plus.
• Additional training or certifications in culturally competent therapy practices are advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
