You will be working within a detox center, a specialized area where you will engage with clients who are undergoing withdrawal and requiring immediate psychological support. • Provide psychotherapy and mental health services to individuals facing conditions such as anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.
• Develop, implement, and adapt treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring they are person-centered and culturally appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to create a coordinated care approach.
• Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as needed in response to patient feedback and clinical assessments.
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding mental health conditions and available community resources.
• Uphold professional standards, including maintaining patient confidentiality and securing informed consent in therapeutic interactions.

This role focuses primarily on individuals in a detox setting, many of whom may be experiencing co-occurring disorders alongside substance use issues. You will engage with diverse populations, providing compassionate care that recognizes each patient’s unique journey and cultural background. Your expertise will be vital in guiding individuals through some of the most challenging moments of their lives, fostering resilience and promoting sustainable recovery strategies.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services.
• Superb communication and interpersonal skills conducive to building effective relationships with patients and collaborating with healthcare teams.
• Proficient clinical skills, including the ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and create evidence-based treatment plans.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other healthcare software for managing patient documentation and care coordination.
• A deep understanding of mental health conditions and relevant treatment methodologies.

• Experience working within a detox or rehabilitation center is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with trauma-informed care practices.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Knowledge of community resources and support networks beneficial for patient referrals.
