Positive Pathways Counseling Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting initial assessments and developing personalized treatment plans to help clients meet their mental health goals.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to deliver prevention-oriented therapy tailored to individual client needs.
• Regularly reviewing and updating treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other treatment providers.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of client sessions in a secure and timely manner, using our integrated electronic health record system.
• Attending and actively participating in staff meetings to discuss case progress and share best practices.
• Contributing to a positive team culture by engaging in constructive feedback and team-building activities.

You will work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our population often includes children, adolescents, and adults with varying degrees of mental health needs. Understanding the complexities and nuances of each client’s situation will enable you to develop effective therapeutic interventions and build strong rapport.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

• A valid and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate open discussions with clients and colleagues.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in mental health counseling.

While a minimum of one year of relevant experience in mental health counseling is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Experience in outpatient therapy settings and a strong knowledge of community mental health resources.
• A background in crisis intervention techniques and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
