  • Deliver individualized and family therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs and challenges identified during assessments.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, adhering to precise timelines.
  • Develop personalized crisis management plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to aid patients in achieving stable and functional living.
  • Formulate discharge plans that ensure a smooth transition for patients moving out of therapy.
  • Stay current with federal and state mental health regulations, as well as organizational policies, ensuring compliance in all practices.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training and ongoing education, maintaining competency in therapeutic methodologies.
  • Participate in case consultation and clinical team meetings to foster a collaborative treatment approach.
  • Complete all continuing education requirements and renew licensure in a timely manner.

By providing holistic care that respects cultural backgrounds and individual needs, our therapists are equipped to make a transformative impact on the mental health and wellness of our community in Waldorf, Maryland, and beyond.

Qualifications
  • An advanced degree, such as a Master’s in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.
  • Active licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience providing therapy in both individual and family settings.
  • Proficiency in developing and executing treatment plans in accordance with best clinical practices.
  • A demonstrated commitment to professional growth through ongoing education and training in mental health.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and licensure. The Kinetic Mental and Wellness Center values the work-life balance of our staff, providing generous paid time off (PTO), health and dental insurance, short- and long-term disability coverage, and life insurance.
