We are currently seeking a meticulous and insightful Remote Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for uncovering trends and turning complex data into actionable insights that will help shape our product strategy, improve customer experience, and drive business growth. This is a Full-Time, remote position based in Texas City, Texas, United States, offering a competitive hourly wage of $25 - $58 USD, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques, and providing ongoing reports. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Collecting and interpreting data from various sources, including sales, website analytics, and customer feedback, to identify patterns and trends.
* Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality.
* Creating and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales, marketing, and product performance.
* Analysing customer behaviour and purchasing patterns to support marketing campaign optimisation and enhance the user experience on our e-commerce platform.
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to provide data-driven recommendations.
* Presenting clear and concise findings to stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
* Ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all company reporting.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a strong analytical mindset and proven experience in a data-focused role.
Essential Qualifications:
* Proven work experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
* Strong knowledge of and experience with reporting packages and databases (SQL, etc.).
* Proficiency in statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
* Advanced skills in data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to present complex information to a non-technical audience.
* Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience with programming languages such as R or Python.
* Previous experience in an e-commerce or retail environment.
