Telecare Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. The Mental Health Counselor position is remote, allowing for flexibility and work-life balance. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting initial assessments to understand clients’ mental health status and needs, utilizing both structured interviews and standardized assessment tools.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique circumstances and goals.
• Providing regular therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic approaches tailored to address conditions such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and more.
• Equipping clients with coping strategies and tools to manage their challenges effectively, including mindfulness techniques and cognitive behavioral strategies.
• Collaborating with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, to facilitate comprehensive care and ensure that clients receive holistic support.

At Telecare Counseling Center, you will engage with a diverse client population, including individuals struggling with mental health disorders like anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and eating disorders. The role requires understanding the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of clients, allowing for a more tailored and responsive therapy experience.

To be successful in this role, candidates must hold:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in a counseling setting.
• Strong knowledge of various mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities, along with a commitment to evidence-based practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.

While we welcome candidates from various backgrounds, those with specific expertise in:

• Crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation strategies will find their skills particularly valuable in our practice.
• Experience delivering both individual and group therapy sessions, especially in a telehealth format.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems which facilitates documentation and progress tracking.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 120,000 – 140,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus of $3,000. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
