Job description

Infrastructure Administrator / Systems Administrator
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Infrastructure Administrator / Systems Administrator to support and maintain enterprise applications, servers, and infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will have strong Linux administration experience, expertise in Tomcat application servers, and hands-on experience with software deployments. This role requires flexibility to support deployment activities, system maintenance, and troubleshooting across various environments.
Key Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and monitor Linux-based servers and infrastructure.
Install, configure, and manage Apache Tomcat application servers.
Support application deployments, upgrades, patches, and release management activities.
Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and infrastructure issues.
Monitor system performance, availability, and security compliance.
Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful application deployments.
Manage system backups, disaster recovery procedures, and server maintenance.
Maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, and system configurations.
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
Participate in after-hours deployments and support activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Administrator, or similar role.
Strong experience administering Linux environments.
Hands-on experience managing Apache Tomcat servers.
Experience with application deployments and release processes.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Flexible schedule and willingness to support deployment windows when required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation tools.
