Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions, collecting relevant histories and determining their therapeutic needs.

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions in various formats to address behavioral issues and promote positive coping strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. You will be instrumental in empowering clients to navigate their difficulties, utilizing strength-based and solution-focused methodologies tailored to individuals, couples, and families.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Masterโ€™s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Current, valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • At least two years of relevant clinical experience providing therapy in a mental health setting.

  • Knowledge and experience using electronic medical record systems are highly recommended.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with crisis intervention and stabilization techniques.
