• Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans that may include crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication management services.
• Document all clinical interactions and treatment progress accurately and within established timelines to comply with regulatory standards.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as per recommendations from the clinical team to ensure optimal care delivery.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to devise and implement positive behavior support plans tailored to meet client needs.
• Actively engage in the clinic’s licensing and accreditation processes, upholding high standards of clinical practice and care.
• Serve as a vital link to state agencies and community partners, advocating for client needs and promoting agency initiatives.
• Maintain open and honest communication across all service realms to enhance the agency's outreach, fulfilling contractual obligations, and amplifying the mission of MHA.
• Identify and cultivate potential partnerships with local, state, and federal organizations to expand services and secure funding for new initiatives.
• Invest in professional development by pursuing training, attending conferences, and participating in relevant committees to enhance expertise.
• Uphold and infuse the agency's mission, core values, and philosophies into every aspect of your work.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, contributing to team efforts and clinic goals.

As a part of our clinic, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals experiencing emotional distress, struggling with substance use issues, or navigating complex mental health needs due to developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Your expertise will directly influence their recovery journeys and overall quality of life.

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required to ensure a deep understanding of mental health practices and theories.
• An independent LMHC license is mandatory for practice, validating your capability to provide counseling services effectively.

• Experience working in community health settings or with diverse populations is strongly preferred, providing you with the tools needed to address unique client challenges.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and treatment planning will support your success in this role.
