• Assess clients' mental health needs through detailed evaluations and client interviews, leading to the development of personalized treatment plans that highlight specific therapeutic goals.
• Employ a wide range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and family systems theory, to help clients navigate their emotional challenges.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, ensuring adherence to ethical standards and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in collaborative care with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide a holistic approach to client treatment.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops, trainings, and supervision to enhance your skills and knowledge in marriage and family therapy.

You will work with a diverse demographic, providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Understanding the unique cultural and social backgrounds of our clients is crucial, as we aim to provide supportive and culturally competent care that resonates with their experiences.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Oregon is mandatory.
• Strong understanding of various therapeutic modalities and the ability to apply them in practice.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to connect empathetically with clients.
• Proficient in utilizing teletherapy platforms and technology to engage with clients effectively.

• Experience conducting therapy within a community health setting or similar environments is preferred.
