This position operates in a fully remote environment, allowing for flexibility and accommodating diverse work arrangements. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your everyday tasks will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients to gain a deep understanding of their mental health concerns, which will guide the formulation of accurate clinical diagnoses and development of personalized treatment plans.
• Delivering therapeutic interventions through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, employing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) based on clients’ specific needs.
• Providing immediate crisis intervention for clients in acute distress, implementing strategies to de-escalate crises and ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintaining meticulous and confidential client records that document treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, adhering to ethical and legal standards to ensure privacy.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care plans for clients, ensuring a holistic approach to mental health.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health issues, potential treatment options, and community resources available, advocating for their rights and needs effectively.
• Engaging in continuous professional development by participating in ongoing training, workshops, and relevant external educational opportunities to remain abreast of best practices in mental health therapy.

In this role, you will work with a diverse population characterized by various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Ideal candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A current license as a Mental Health Therapist, specifically as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or an equivalent field relevant to mental health therapy.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and proficiency in diagnostic methodologies.
• A minimum of two years of related professional experience in mental health counseling.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective engagement with clients, families, and team members.
• The ability to function independently, demonstrating sound decision-making skills, as well as collaborating effectively within a team structure.
• A strong commitment to upholding ethical and professional standards in all clinical practices.

While previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we also welcome entry-level candidates who demonstrate a passion for mental health care and are eager to learn. Experience with specific populations or therapeutic modalities is a plus.
