• Conduct comprehensive assessments through virtual sessions to evaluate clients' mental health status and diagnostic needs.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans that address specific mental health challenges, incorporating both individual and group therapy techniques.
• Facilitate regular therapeutic sessions, providing ongoing support, tools, and resources to empower clients in their healing journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care and treatment continuity.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting therapeutic sessions, managing client information, and tracking progress effectively.
• Engage in crisis intervention as needed, demonstrating the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

This role will allow you to work with a diverse client population facing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse disorders, and eating disorders. You will have the chance to develop meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients from varying backgrounds, enriching your practice with cultural competence and sensitivity.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Illinois.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience working in mental health is essential.
• Proficient understanding of mental health disorders and various evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Experience providing both individual and group therapy, with a commitment to culturally responsive methodologies.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and computer applications relevant to the role.

• Demonstrated ability to contribute positively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Evidence of crisis intervention experience and strong problem-solving capabilities in clinical settings.
