Full-Time | Hybrid Preferred, Remote Considered for Highly Qualified Pennsylvania Candidates

Bring your estate planning and administration experience into a trusted paralegal role where your judgment, client care, and attention to detail are valued every day.

The Opportunity

The ideal candidate will bring current Pennsylvania estate planning and administration experience and the confidence to help move matters forward with accuracy, organization, and professionalism. While experience in this practice area is important, the firm will provide guidance on its internal systems, workflows, and preferred processes.

Why This Role Stands Out

This role offers the opportunity to do more than complete task-based legal support. You will help clients navigate important family, financial, and estate decisions while serving as a trusted point of contact throughout the process.

You will work closely with the attorney, participate in client communication, assist with document preparation and review, support estate and trust administration matters, and help ensure clients receive clear guidance and a high level of care.

For the right person, this position offers meaningful responsibility, schedule flexibility, strong benefits, performance-based bonus opportunities, and the ability to contribute in a role where your experience truly matters.

What You'll Be Doing

Client Communication and Matter Support

  • Help clients feel informed, respected, and supported during important legal and family transitions

Estate Planning Support

  • Assist with drafting and reviewing estate planning documents
  • Prepare and organize client information for plan design, attorney review, and execution
  • Review documents for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before signing
  • Support the attorney with client meeting preparation, follow-up, and document finalization

Estate and Trust Administration

  • Support estate and trust administration matters from intake through completion
  • Assist with probate and administration filings, correspondence, asset information, beneficiary communication, and related documentation
  • Work with executors, trustees, beneficiaries, financial institutions, and other professionals
  • Help track deadlines, required documents, and next steps to keep matters organized and moving

Document Drafting, Systems, and Workflow

  • Draft and organize documents using estate planning and administration software
  • Maintain accurate client files and matter records
  • Use Microsoft 365, CosmoLex, Lawmatics, and related systems to support workflow and communication
  • Contribute to process improvements that support accuracy, efficiency, and client service

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of current experience in Pennsylvania estate planning, estate administration, probate, or trust administration
  • Experience drafting estate planning documents and supporting estate or trust administration matters
  • Strong understanding of Pennsylvania estate and probate processes
  • Confidence communicating with clients in a professional, compassionate, and clear manner
  • Strong organization, follow-through, and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with accuracy
  • Comfort using legal software, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based systems
  • Paralegal certificate, relevant education, or equivalent experience preferred
  • A steady, client-centered professional who enjoys being trusted with meaningful responsibility

Work Environment

  • Hybrid work is preferred, with periodic in-office presence in Johnstown, PA for client meetings, team collaboration, and firm needs.
  • Remote candidates may be considered if they bring strong, current Pennsylvania estate planning and estate administration experience and can work effectively with the firm's systems, communication expectations, and client service standards.
  • Candidates located within reasonable driving distance of Johnstown, PA are strongly encouraged to apply.

About the Firm

Ayres Presser Elder Law is dedicated to guiding individuals and families through some of life's most important and often challenging transitions. The firm focuses on estate planning, elder law, estate administration, and trust administration, providing thoughtful, practical legal solutions with a high level of personal care.

The team is collaborative, client-centered, and committed to delivering clear guidance, peace of mind, and dependable support to the individuals and families it serves.

Benefits

  • Starting base salary $60,000, commensurate with experience
  • Monthly KPI performance-based bonus opportunities
  • 401(k) with employer match and potential profit sharing
  • Medical benefits, 50% employer paid
  • 3 weeks PTO plus paid holidays
  • Ongoing training, CLEs, and professional development support
  • Hybrid flexibility, with remote consideration for highly qualified Pennsylvania candidates
