Position Overview

The Transformative Unicare Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role offers an annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000, along with a variety of benefits aimed at providing support for professional growth and personal well-being. This position is entirely remote, utilizing telehealth to provide services to our clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address the specific needs of each client, including pre-crisis and crisis action plans.
  • Engage actively in documentation processes, ensuring that all records meet regulatory standards and are completed in a timely manner.
  • Utilize evidence-based screening tools as directed by the clinical team to assess and monitor client progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and programs to implement effective positive behavior support strategies for clients.
  • Participate dynamically in accreditation processes to maintain high standards of care and compliance.
  • Serve as a key liaison between clients and relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners to ensure comprehensive resource availability.
  • Establish and maintain communication with local, state, and federal agencies to promote agency programs and develop new partnerships.
  • Engage in professional development by attending relevant conferences, classes, and community meetings to enhance personal skills and represent the agency.
  • Promote and embody the mission, values, and principles of Transformative Unicare Counseling Center in all aspects of work.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Clinic Director, supporting overall clinic operations.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals facing various mental health challenges, including those recovering from substance abuse, individuals with developmental disabilities, and clients with acquired brain injuries. By applying person-centered methodologies, you will empower clients to develop skills needed for independence and community participation, focusing on overall wellness and recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
  • Independent LMHC license recognized by the state board is mandatory.
  • Proficient in maintaining clinical records and preparing related reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities to articulate ideas clearly and effectively.
  • The ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions based on professional knowledge.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in telehealth service delivery, utilizing virtual platforms to conduct assessments and therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health therapy and behavior support plans.
  • Background in working with diverse populations, including those in recovery and individuals with developmental and acquired disabilities.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development within the behavioral health field.
Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually.
