Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that address both pre-crisis and crisis needs, creating positive behavior support plans and risk assessments as required.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation that aligns with regulatory standards, ensuring all necessary records are up-to-date and compliant.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to guide treatment decisions, collaborating with clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate effective behavior support strategies, promoting overall psychological well-being and recovery.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring the quality and accountability of services provided.
• Serve as a liaison to community partners, state agencies, and other relevant service systems, facilitating effective communication to enhance service delivery.
• Maintain active relationships with local, state, federal, and private entities to promote organizational programs and uncover potential partnerships or funding avenues.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities, represent the agency in professional settings, and engage in statewide meetings relevant to mental health practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele that includes individuals struggling with mental health issues, those in recovery from substance use disorders, and individuals facing developmental disabilities or brain injuries. Your role will be pivotal in providing therapeutic support that enhances their emotional well-being and promotes resilience.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required, enabling you to understand complex psychological concepts essential for effective counseling.
• A valid independent LMHC license issued by the state board is mandatory to practice within Texas.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 86,000 to 103,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
