Supporting a U.S.-Based Luxury Residential Construction Company

Are you an experienced construction estimator who enjoys working with plans, takeoffs, and detailed project costing?

Gill Construction is seeking a Remote Residential Remodeling Estimator based in the Dominican Republic to support our growing portfolio of luxury residential remodeling projects across the United States.

This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with a high-end U.S. residential construction company while building a long-term remote career. You'll collaborate with project managers and leadership to produce accurate estimates, coordinate pricing, and support preconstruction activities for custom remodeling projects.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates from architectural plans and specifications
  • Assist with budgeting and preconstruction planning
  • Coordinate subcontractor bid requests and pricing
  • Review drawings, finish schedules, and project documentation
  • Update estimates and manage revisions or change orders
  • Maintain estimating data within JobTread or similar construction management software
  • Assist with scope development and project costing
  • Collaborate remotely with U.S.-based project managers and company leadership
Qualifications
  • Experience in construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, or preconstruction
  • Residential remodeling or custom home construction experience preferred
  • Experience with JobTread, Buildertrend, Procore, CoConstruct, or similar construction software
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • High attention to detail with strong follow-through
  • Reliable high-speed internet and a professional home office
  • Availability to overlap several hours with U.S. business hours
Preferred Qualifications
  • Luxury residential or high-end remodeling experience
  • Experience managing change orders
  • Material procurement or purchasing support
  • Project coordination or Assistant Project Manager experience
  • Previous experience working remotely for a U.S.-based construction company
