Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients’ mental health status, strengths, and needs, enabling individualized treatment planning.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the unique circumstances of each patient.
• Collaborate with a diverse team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and nurses, to ensure seamless and coordinated care for patients.
• Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication regimens to empower decision-making and enhance understanding.
• Facilitate individual therapy sessions, group therapy, and family therapy, utilizing established therapeutic modalities to encourage open communication and healing.
• Develop and implement detailed treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team, ensuring alignment with patient goals and preferences.
• Assist patients in navigating the complexities of the mental health system, advocating for their rights and needs throughout their journey.
• Conduct therapeutic groups, psychoeducation sessions, and discharge planning meetings to best support the patients’ ongoing needs.

Qualifications
