This full-time remote position allows you to provide high-quality mental health care to clients from the comfort of your own home, utilizing telehealth technology. In this position, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify the mental health needs of clients, understanding their unique circumstances and presenting issues.
• Developing tailored treatment plans that align with each client’s individual goals and desired outcomes.
• Utilizing evidence-based counseling techniques and interventions to facilitate clients' growth and healing.
• Maintaining ongoing communication with clients to track their progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Providing referrals to additional mental health providers or resources when specialized care is needed.
• Staying current with trends and advancements in mental health counseling through continual professional education.
• Engaging in regular team meetings and supervision sessions to discuss case management and share best practices.

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health challenges. Your role will be pivotal in creating a safe and trusting environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences. Your empathetic approach will allow clients to open up, enabling effective therapeutic intervention.

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of New Jersey.
• Proficient understanding of various counseling methodologies and an ability to implement them effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster trust and rapport with clients.
• A commitment to patient confidentiality and ethical counseling practices.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to work effectively within a remote team environment.

While not mandatory, we prefer candidates who have:

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a counseling setting.
• Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or individuals with substance use disorders.
• Familiarity with integrated care models and the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proficiency in telehealth technologies and remote counseling techniques.
